Story:
Er... /me didn't bother writing a story.
I'd better come up with one now... Ok, I got it!

You awoke one day to a brave new world, taken over by demons and monsters. You don't remember when it happened, just that it did, and now you want it to stop. The demons have killed enough of your people, and you want vengeance. You know they emerge from the portal into Midian, a mythological land. Now, you deem it necessary to take the demons out at the source.

However, the entrance to Midian lays at the heart of the demonic infestation here on earth, and the only way in is (surprise, surprise) to fight your way there.

Before leaving, an oracle talks to you, warning of the danger. "Beware. Once you have reached the heart of the demon's infestation, there is no turning back." she tells you
"But how will I know when I'm near?" you ask, and the oracle responds to you, "You will know, as surely as if I'd have told you..." After the oracle's last cryptic response, you grab your shotgun, and start your journey.

Have fun playing, and when your done, try it out on Hard (if you haven't already). It's really fun and quite beatable. Oh, and afterwards, please, Email me with your thoughts and comments on this level. I'd really appreaciate it, since most people who play user-made maps tend to hardly ever give feedback to the authors. If you do so, I will reward you with 1,000,000$!!! Well, no, but I would really appreaciate it. =) (Oh, and thanks for reading this txt file too).

Thanks to:

id Software for Quake: for giving me an awsome game to map for.
id Software for Doom2: for showing me the way towards insane gameplay.
Parents for creating me
God <-- Self Explanatory. And, no, I'm not a godless bastard.
Beta Testers: -CZG
		-Biff
		-Xenon
		-Grahf
Cradle of Filth: "Satanic Mantra", and for inspiring me to do such a hellish level.
All the really good bands out there who give me awsome music to map to.

Btw: "At the Gates of Midian" is the title for the opening orchestral track on CoF's CD Midian. =)

Credits:
Most of this stuff is original, and by me including the QC for the 'new' monsters, however, the new monster sounds were all cobbled up from Old Doom monster sounds and modified Quake sounds.
All skins are made by me, except that the FireShambler's skin was inpired by a skin from an old Level Pak 'el temple del sol (temple of the sun)' by Rob Marton. (Thanks to Xenon for showing it to me).

* Installation *

Unzip n3sp03.bsp to quake\n3sp03\. The Pak File contains all required files. Now, run quake with the command line '-game n3sp03 -winmem16' and type (in the console) 'map n3sp03' to start the map.

You can also use Dos Prompt with this command line: quake -winmem 16(or higher) \ glquake -heapsize 16000(or higher) -game n3sp03 +map n3sp03. Please note: Winmem 16 is minimum. Also, it might be advisable to run this on a computer with at least a PII 300 Processor, as the finale level runs rather slow on older systems due to high R_Speeds.

Note: If you're playing GLQuake, (which looks alot nicer than software,) use r_wateralpha 0.8 , r_shadows 0 and gl_flashblend 0.
You can set all of this in the console.
